Nikki Ford, MA, RD, Registered Dietitian.

Philosophy
As a registered dietitian, my goal is to teach people how to eat in a way that will benefit them the most, whether it be for weight loss, athletics, a certain health condition or just overall good health. I like to give people ideas about how they can improve their favorite meals and encourage them to try new foods too! I will assist clients in designing an individualized eating plan that best fits their lifestyle and personal goals. Food is our fuel and what we put into our bodies can affect us physically and emotionally.

Biography
I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences, Major in Dietetics. I then completed a Master’s Degree in Wellness Management with a Minor in General Foundations of Business from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. While at Ball State I helped develop wellness programs for faculty, staff, and students. Also at Ball State I completed a dietetic internship, completing most of my work at Community Hospitals of Indianapolis.

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy traveling, running, yoga, cooking (and trying) new foods, and spending time with my family.
