Biography
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. From the age of 8-18, I ran competitively on an AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) track team “The Colorado Sun”. I also pursued a fulfilling running career through High School where I ran both track and cross country. I received my B.S. in Recreation Resource Management in 1993 from Colorado State University. For the past nine years, I worked for Foothills Park and Recreation District in Littleton, Colorado. During those years, I was a Recreation Specialist where I managed a 30,000 sq. ft. Wellness Center where patrons of all ages came to workout. I was also the Youth Sports Specialist where I oversaw a number of instructional classes such as soccer, volleyball, T-ball, basketball, etc....

Philosophy
To help clients of all ages live a happy more fulfilling life through strength training and physical activity. I will achieve this by providing the most up to date training techniques designed specifically for each client’s goal that they want to achieve. I look at the relationship between my clients and myself as that of a team, working together to achieve maximum results.

Hobbies and Interests
During my free time, I enjoy trail running, hiking, mountain biking, lifting weights, rollerblading, rock climbing, adventure racing and spending time with my dog!
Adventure Racing:
Over the last two years I have had an opportunity to race in a number of adventure races. Adventure racing is a multi sport race where a team of 3-4 coed teammates race together. The races can include but are not limited to trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, rappelling, canoeing and most importantly orienteering. The races lasted anywhere from 5 to 30 hours in length. All teammates must travel together and complete all disciplines.
