Blenda Cooper Personal Trainer
Philosophy
I am a senior student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln pursuing an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. I will then go on to pursue a Masters degree in Athletic Training. I plan to use my knowledge of athletic performance improvement, general strength training and injury prevention and care to work with athletes and the general public to promote greater athletic ability and healthier lifestyles. My philosophy on training includes placing an emphasis on athletic performance improvement. More specifically, I believe that sports specific training needs to be done for optimal performance in athletics. Normally, general strength training and injury prevention and care are important parts of fitness that everyone should have knowledge of and encompass in a weekly schedule. Therefore, I strive to promote greater athletic ability and healthier lifestyles in athletes and in the general public.
Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies and interests other than fitness include basketball, rollerblading, and singing in New Vision, Lincoln’s new community gospel choir.
